Who can go?

If you are a veteran and have served in any branch of the military in any capacity, we would be honored to escort you to Washington D.C. on our Flight of Honor.

We recognize American Veterans for your sacrifices and achievements by flying you to Washington, DC to see YOUR memorials at no cost. Top priority is given to WWII and terminally ill Veterans from all wars. Second priority goes to Korean War Veterans, and third priority goes to Vietnam War Veterans.

Our high school students accompany you throughout the trip, ensuring your safety and comfort every step of the way. A doctor, nurse, and several wheelchairs are always available to assist with any medical or mobility needs.

Our Impact: Connecting Generations Through Honor Flight

Parsons, Chetopa & St. Paul Honor Flight is a unique and heartfelt program designed to honor our nation’s veterans by providing them with a memorable journey to Washington, D.C. In partnership with USD 503 and USD 505, we proudly organize an annual, all-expenses-paid, three-day trip for 24 veterans and 24 student guardians. This trip allows our honored veterans to visit and reflect at the nation’s war memorials, creating lasting memories and fostering powerful connections between generations. Our Honor Flight is one of the few in the country where high school students serve as guardians, providing a meaningful learning experience for students and a deeply personal tribute for veterans. Through this program, we aim to celebrate service, bridge generations, and create a legacy of gratitude and respect in our community.
