Parsons, Chetopa & St. Paul High Schools
In 2015, Mike Kastle brought the Honor Flight program to Parsons High School, and in 2016 its inaugural flight took off for Washington, D.C. It didn’t take long for word to spread about the program, and it soon caught the attention of Dr. Bobbi Williams, superintendent of Chetopa and St. Paul High Schools. A partnership was formed, and a decade later, the program continues to grow and expand across Southeast Kansas.
Since the program began, more than 250 veterans have been given the opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our communities, students, families, local businesses, and school districts.
